Sitting Time Related to Health and Longevity

Health is strongly associated with longevity. Many things affect health in this life, may you hear the ability to sit is one of a healthy lifestyle. Sitting time is related to health and longevity.  Recent research results indicate to experts, limiting the amount of time to sit every day can be very rewarding. If you are able to reduce the time to sit to less than 3 hours per day, the lifespan can be increased up to 2 years old.

The results also indicated that reducing TV viewing time to less than 2 hours per day can extend the life of almost 1.4 years longer.
Several previous studies have linked the length of time spent sitting and watching TV to health problems, such as diabetes and death from heart disease or stroke.

In his observations, the researchers used data collected in the National Nutrition Examination Survey Halth ad (NHANES) in 2005/6 and 2009/10, to calculate the amount of time spent U.S. adults to watch TV and sit down every day.

Researchers also encompass a variety of research databases MEDLINE, the observed adverse sit too long and the risk of death from all causes, and collect different data from five studies involving nearly 167 000 are relevant to adults. The database was then reviewed, taking into account the age and sex.
These data are then combined and produce a so-called population attributable indicators fraction (PAF). This is the estimate of the risk factors in a population to calculate the mortality rate associated with time spent sitting. Analysis results showed that PAF pesentase death from all causes associated with the time to sit and watch TV each accounted for 27 percent and 19 percent.

Hasi of life table analysis indicates, reducing the amount of time spent sitting per day to less than 3 hours will extend the life expectancy of 2 years. Similarly, when the limit of time to watch TV less than two hours a day will extend the life expectancy of 1.38 years.

Given the time Americans spend an average of 55 percent to sit down. Required significant changes related to the behavior at the population level to make real improvements in life expectancy increases.
